A Word From The Author
I was born in Guatemala City in 1950 and raised in a life shaped by hardship and sacrifice. After finishing my early education, I left my home and traveled to the United States in search of opportunity.
I began writing in the 1960s, inspired by a world rich in music and creativity, including artists like The Beatles, The Dave Clark Five, and The Monkees.
In the United States, I worked hard to survive while supporting my family back home during the time of the Vietnam War. I later enlisted in the United States Navy, but did not go to war after policy changes under President Richard Nixon.
Today, I write from real experience stories shaped by struggle, resilience, and hope.
